The ski area
Valfréjus is a high-mountain resort in the Haute Maurienne, on the Italian border. The ski area runs from 1,550 m (the resort) up to 2,737 m at the summit of Punta Bagna, with 70 km of slopes and about 1,200 m of vertical drop. From the resort, the Arrondaz gondola climbs to a wide high plateau; a chairlift then reaches the summit in a few minutes.

- A Kid Park on the Arrondaz plateau (games, carousel, snow castle), a boarder cross, two Bob Park sledging runs of 2 km each

Announced opening for winter 2026-2027: from Saturday 19 December 2026 to early April 2027 (exact dates on the resort website).
One pass, two resorts
The Valfréjus pass is shared with the neighbouring resort of La Norma: 135 km of slopes in total. A free shuttle links the two resorts every 45 minutes for pass holders.
From the apartment
The apartment is 50 m from the lifts, in the centre of the resort: you leave on skis in the morning and walk home in the evening. The ski locker on the ground floor saves carrying equipment upstairs. Four sledges are available in the apartment for the resort’s sledging runs.
Lessons, equipment, children
- Ski schools: ESF, ESI and independent instructors are present in the resort.
- Equipment rental and lockers: several rental shops in Valfréjus; see the resort website for the list and prices.
- Childcare and kids’ clubs: [[À COMPLÉTER PAR SAM]] (to be checked with the tourist office for the 2026-2027 season).
- Ski passes: prices and online purchase on the resort website. A family offer is announced for 2026-2027 (50% off children and teens for two adult 6-day passes).
After skiing
Snowshoeing, winter tree-top course and zip lines, sledging areas, wellness and spa, indoor activities: the full programme is published each season by the tourist office (see sources below). Restaurants and shops are at the foot of the building.
