The mountains, quietly
Opened in 1983, Valfréjus is one of the youngest resorts in France. Nestled at 1,550 m, surrounded by forests and pastures, it stays cool when the valley swelters. In summer the resort is calm: ideal for resting, walking and enjoying the 15 m² balcony facing the mountains.
Hiking and multi-day treks
Family walks, day hikes, trails and multi-day treks to the mountain huts: the path network starts right from the resort. The Arrondaz gondola runs in summer for walkers and mountain bikers and gives effortless access to the high plateau. Detailed routes (level, duration, elevation) will be added page by page in phase 3, from the tourist office’s data sheets.
Cycling, mountain bikes and e-bikes

Italy next door
Valfréjus sits on the Italian border. Through the Fréjus tunnel (entrance in Modane) you reach Bardonecchia and the Susa valley; Turin is about 100 km away.
